Post Shoot Reflection

In this shoot, it was fairly simple to find metal and squares, but finding Bowie and happy was a challenge. I was really thinking about the rule of thirds when I was shooting. For example, I kept my smiley face in the right third of the picture, and the chain in the bottom third. Now that I know more about photography, I would definitely change some of my pictures. I was satisfied with my happy and metal entries, but I would like to have improved me square and Bowie photos. My square entry would have been greatly improved simply by using the rule of thirds. I left the subject in the middle, making my photo very static and boring. As for my Bowie picture, I would have liked to find a different subject altogether. I applied rule of thirds, lines and simplicity in my first two entries, and would not have changed those pictures. I don't think I would like to shoot these same prompts again, because I don't think there were enough available interesting subjects.
