  1. I chose this image because the woman's expression was so intriguing, and it drew me in. The despair and fatigue of the children caught my eye. This picture captures so much emotion, which is why I chose it.
  2. This image was taken by Dorothea Lang, and is one of her most iconic images. Her project was to humanize the Great Depression. When she saw this woman, she was immediately drawn to her and knew this was what she wanted to capture in her photos.
